Night Swim Necklace

Inspired by the kind of night swims that become part of island memory - spontaneous, a little reckless, romantic, sometimes simply about being young enough to run into dark water without thinking twice. Tahitian pearls carry that same feeling... changing with the light, like the ocean after sunset.

Tiny Tahitian seed pearls in shifting shades of peacock blue, deep green, charcoal and violet, individually hand-knotted on silk and finished in 14k gold fill. Their color changes almost constantly with the light - sometimes nearly black, sometimes blue-green, sometimes carrying that soft oil-slick flash particular to Tahitian pearls.

The scale keeps it delicate; the irregular color and hand-knotting keep it from feeling too polished. A quiet strand with an extraordinary amount happening when you look closely.
